Inn Policies
The Eagle Harbor Inn is a small property where every guest reservation is important. Please keep in mind that our “petit hotel” is not a typical hotel experience.
- No need to check in. We have eliminated the front desk – and the need for guests to stop at reception, collect keys, and pay.
- No keys for rooms & suites. We’ve installed a sophisticated electronic security system. Guests are assigned personal security codes, which must be entered at keypads at the lobby door and your room.
- Access to Townhomes. Guests in the townhouses are provided with a keypad code for their private garages. Townhome keys and garage openers are provided on arrival.
- B and NO B. Though we are sometimes listed in phone books and on-line services as a B&B we don’t really fit in that category. We do NOT provide breakfast – but we provide excellent coffee – brewed and delivered by Pegasus Coffee Shop just across the street. There are quite a few restaurants and bakeries nearby that offer anything from a basic scone to full brunch service.
RATES: Our Inn has seasonal rates and our weekend rates are higher than those for weekdays. Quoted rates, on our website, do not include state and local taxes.
PAYMENTS: Your credit card will be charged 14 days prior to your arrival — no payment is collected at the time of booking. A receipt will be sent to your email address on file when the charge is processed. If you need to update your payment method before that date, please contact us as soon as possible.
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancelling before the 14-day window
Cancellations made more than 14 days before your arrival date are completely free. Since no payment is collected until that point, no refund is necessary and no action is required beyond notifying us.
Booking within 14 days of arrival
Reservations made within the 14-day window carry a 24-hour grace period from the time of confirmation — your card will not be charged during that time. If you do not cancel within 24 hours, your payment will be processed and the cancellation terms below apply.
Cancellations inside the 14-day window
Once your payment has been processed, reservations are non-refundable. However, we will do our best to rebook your room. If we are able to recover any portion of your costs, we will return that amount to you less a 5% fee to cover credit card processing charges.
No-shows & non-recoverable bookings
If we are unable to rebook your room, we are unable to issue a refund. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMES: Guests may let themselves in to their accommodations any time after 3:00 pm on the first day of their booking. Check-out time is 11:00 AM on your final morning at the Inn.
NO PETS: Unfortunately, we do not allow pets.
NO SMOKING: At the Eagle Harbor Inn all guest rooms are smoke-free. Guests smoking within the Inn will be charged for deep-cleaning and air purification.
GUEST ROOM OCCUPANCY: Our rooms have strict limits on the number of occupants. Roll-a-way beds and full sized cribs are not available. Guests who exceed the maximum occupancy will be charged additional fees and you may be directed to vacate the premises.
CHILDREN: Children are welcome at The Eagle Harbor Inn. A port-a-crib can be made available in any room with advance request. Adequate supervision by parents or guardians is required.
DAMAGE & LOSS CHARGES: The registered guest will be charged for excessive cleaning, damages or thefts from the units – and for lost keys and garage door openers.
GATHERINGS AND PARTIES: Unless you’ve received written authorization units at The Eagle Harbor Inn are not to be used for gatherings or events. If you are planning any gathering or event during your stay please call us to ensure that your needs can be met.
PRIVACY POLICY/MOBILE DATA: We do not sell or share mobile or personal data with third parties, affiliates, or partners for marketing or promotional purposes. We only share data with third parties when it is strictly necessary to deliver our service and only under binding agreements that ensure confidentiality. Under no circumstances will mobile data be shared or sold for advertising or promotional use.
